For Full-Time Faculty
The Reinert Center offers a full range of services and programs for full-time 性奴调教 faculty, whether tenured, tenure-track, or non-tenure-track. We work with faculty at all career stages, with sensitivity to the varied needs of early-career, mid-career, and late-career faculty members. Services to individuals are provided only at the faculty member鈥檚 request and in accordance with our confidentiality policy. All services and most programs are provided at no cost to individuals.

Services
Faculty members at all levels of teaching experience have benefitted from core Reinert Center services such as: one-on-one teaching consultations, instructional design and mentored online course-building collaborations, mid-semester focus groups with students, formative classroom observations, and formative feedback on course materials (e.g., syllabi, assignments, rubrics). Programs
Those newer to teaching may find our Certificate Program helpful in understanding foundational aspects of effective teaching, and those newer to the context of Jesuit education may be interested in our Ignatian Pedagogy Academy. More experienced instructors interested in experimenting with new approaches may find our Online Teaching Certificate and our Ignatian Teaching Fellowship particularly appealing. Faculty who teach high concentrations of international students may be interested joining a future offering of the Culturally Responsive Teaching Institute. Additionally, we regularly offer courses in distance teaching to support faculty who teach online. Finally, faculty who are preparing for tenure and/or promotion may be interested in attending our annual Academic Portfolio Retreat, which helps faculty generate and shape material for effective presentation in academic dossiers. Resources
The Reinert Center also provides a variety of online resources to support faculty, including our blog, ; our resource guides on Teaching Essentials; and other resources for key topics such as Inclusive Teaching, Distance Teaching & Instructional Continuity, Supporting International Students and Clinical Teaching. Reasons to Engage the Reinert Center
Faculty across all disciplines and experience levels seek support from the Reinert Center. Here are some common reasons they do so:
- Discuss student ratings of instruction (or other feedback on teaching)
- Explore alternative methods of documenting teaching engagement and effectiveness
- Collect formative student feedback in time to make adjustments in the current semester
- Receive feedback on teaching philosophy statements and/or the teaching section of the academic dossier
- Understand evidence-based practices for university-level teaching
- Experiment with classroom and course innovations for those interested in trying something new
- Develop effective online versions of courses previously offered on-ground
- Engage in classroom-based research and scholarship
- Explore new ways of engaging learners in the 21st century
- Integrate technology into teaching with purpose and intention
