Student Opportunities

The Center for International and Comparative Law offers a variety of opportunities for students interested in international and comparative law during their time at 性奴调教 LAW.

Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition

The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is the world's largest moot court competition. The Jessup competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice. Each year, more than 500 law schools from over 80 countries participate in the competition.

Prerequisites
  • A corequisite or prerequisite to Jessup International is Moot Court I. Two courses,  International Law and International Courts & Tribunals are recommended.
Past Accomplishments
  • In 2024, the 性奴调教 LAW Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team brought back three plaques from the regional rounds. Oralists Jacob Wells, Shane Haley, David Miller, and Gracie Ricci, along with team researcher Emily Seidl, made it to the octofinals and received the 3rd best memorial out of 45 teams. Jacob Wells ranked top 17th oralist out of over 180 students.

  • In 2023, after taking second place overall and winning third Best Brief in the regional rounds in Chicago, the 性奴调教 LAW Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team advanced to the Jessup International Rounds in Washington, D.C. They were among only 12 teams to represent the United States in the international rounds. 性奴调教 LAW team members Katie Hoffecker, Tim Sutton, Jacob Wells, and Rashae Williams had the #38 top memorial out of 135 teams.  Further, Jacob Wells was the top 26th oralist and Rashae Williams was the top 74th oralist out of over 400 students who participated in the international rounds.
