For Employers

Graduates from the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business at 性奴调教 have the skills necessary to be strong professionals. Vigorous curriculum, co-curricular activities and career development resources build well-rounded, motivated students who are ready for the business world.

What Makes Our Graduates Unique?

In addition to our high-quality academic curriculum, the Chaifetz School offers our students experiences that deepen the value of their degree program and develop:

  • Ethical Decision-Making: Integrated business ethics throughout the curriculum leads to ethically-minded graduates.
  • Service Orientation: The value of service is emphasized through the Service Leadership Minor, Social Justice Computing Project and multiple service day opportunities.
  • Career Readiness: In addition to individual advising through the Career Resources Center, every undergraduate student will complete a Career Foundations course, where students learn and practice the skills needed to identify and successfully enter their chosen business career.
  • Leadership: Interaction with executives, mentors, subject matter experts, student and professional organizations, and internship experiences provide students rich opportunities for leadership development.

How Can the Chaifetz School Help You?

Are you interested in connecting with values-driven, motivated individuals with strong leadership potential? The Chaifetz School of Business Valerie A. Davisson Career Resources Center (CRC) would love to help you. Contact Karl Aldrich, Director of the Valerie A. Davisson Career Resources Center, at karl.aldrich@slu.edu or 314-977-2327 for more information or support with any of the following options:

Connect with Students

The Career Resources Center wants to support your recruiting efforts. Building your brand on campus, interacting with students outside of the interview and establishing a presence in the Chaifetz School culture is important to you.

While some of our faculty utilize occasional guest speakers, the rigor of our programs demands that classroom time be spent primarily on academic activities. Center staff can recommend the optimal activities for each employer鈥檚 needs, including possible faculty connections.

The marketing strategy for your activities will be customized as well. The CRC  will create targeted emails, newsletter inclusion, social media blasts and notification timed appropriately for your event or activity.

Attend and Sponsor Events

Contact the center for more information about all of our events, including:

  • University career fairs
  • Cook Career Day (business- only career fair)
  • Employer round tables

Information Tables

Located in Cook Hall鈥檚 atrium during peak hours of student traffic, information tables allow representatives from employers to have informal face-to-face interaction with individual students and enhance brand awareness.

Information Sessions

If you would like to address a targeted group of students about a specific program or opportunity, an information session provides you the platform to share details about your organization and network with students of a particular business major or year.

Student Organizations

The Chaifetz School hosts many student-run organizations related to business functions, academic honors and service. Many of these organizations look for topical guest speakers and host companies to speak about their industries.

Post Jobs and Internships

The Chaifetz School partners with University Career Services to support recruiting efforts for full-time and internship opportunities. Eligible students may participate in the for-credit internship program, designed to provide them with work experiences to enhance their academic program.
