Academic Support
At ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì, we have a range of offices on campus to help you achieve your academic and professional goals, whether it's selecting a major, meeting with a tutor or success coach, preparing for final exams, or finding your first job post-graduation.
ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì provides students with both an academic advisor and a faculty mentor. Guided study groups are available in some residence halls through our learning communities, or you can form your own with the help of ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's residence hall staff.

Academic Support Services
You'll meet with your advisor and your faculty mentor regularly. Your primary advising office is determined by your major and the college where that major is housed. Some majors and programs — such as honors or pre-professional tracks — have a secondary advisor to help you meet those academic goals.
If you require academic accommodations on an ongoing or temporary basis, ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources can help coordinate auxiliary aids and services. Inquiries about reasonable university-related accommodations are kept confidential.
In joining RISE, students gain another valuable set of resources to help them with their success at ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì. Students will engage with a community of peers with similar backgrounds and lived experiences who will help to champion them along their journeys.
ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì offers one-on-one tutoring for almost ninety undergrad classes and Supplemental Instruction sessions for some of our larger, lecture classes.
Whether you are brainstorming your first paper in a ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì class or finishing your dissertation, University Writing Services offers individualized feedback at any stage of the writing process for papers, presentations, and multimedia projects. Writing consultations are offered in-person, on Zoom, and asynchronously.
International and ESL Students
ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's English Language Center works with international students and non-native speakers, undergraduate or graduate. The English Through Service program provides you with an extra opportunity to expand your language skills while volunteering in the St. Louis community.
Adult Learners
ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's Student Success Center offers tutoring specifically for several classes taught at the School for Professional Studies, including the subjects of math, chemistry and data analysis.
