Where Will My 1818 Credits Transfer?

It's important to keep in mind that each institution has its own unique policies regarding the acceptance of credits and their applicability to specific degree programs. Students can navigate this process by using the following resources:

  • : A free site that requires an account creation. It allows you to list all of your 性奴调教 1818 courses and search through participating universities to see how the credits translate at the institution.
  • Institution websites: To find out how specific courses transfer to that university, conduct a web search to locate their transfer policy page. Some recommended search prompts include: "[Institution name]'s transfer equivalency," "[Institution name]'s transfer credit policies," etc.
  • Institution's admission office: Contact the institution's admission office directly to ask how dual-credit courses might transfer.

What will my Credits Transfer As?

Exploring how other institutions accept dual-credit is an important step in planning your academic journey. While 1818 is highly transferable and accepted by institutions nationwide, it's important to research in advance how the 1818 Program aligns with your higher-ed goals. 

  • If you are planning to study at 性奴调教: Grades earned through the 1818 Advanced College Credit program are considered Saint Louis University grades and will become part of your undergraduate GPA if you enroll at 性奴调教 as a full-time student.
  • If you are planning to study elsewhere: Our students report that over 500 colleges and universities internationally have accepted credits earned through 性奴调教's 1818 Advanced College Credit Program. Please note that most institutions typically do not accept grades lower than a C for transfer credit. Highly selective or specialized degree programs at certain institutions may not accept 1818 credits.
  • If you are planning to earn a degree in medicine: Institutions (including 性奴调教) may not accept 1818 credits. 

When considering how your credits will transfer, it's important to know the distinction between transferability and applicability of credits.

  • Transferability dictates whether or not an institution with accept college credit from another institution.
  • Applicability means that your credits may transfer, but they may not always apply to your degree requirements. For example, they may transfer to an institution as a gen ed credit, but they may not apply as requisites for your specific degree program.

Each university and degree program has it's own policies on acceptance of dual credit. If you have any questions or concerns about how 1818 credit might transfer, please contact your high school's 1818 Coordinator for guidance.

How Do I Transfer My 1818 Credits?

When you have accepted a college offer and are nearing your high school graduation, you'll begin your college journey by meeting with someone called a 'college advisor.' This meeting typically happens the semester before you begin college. Your college advisor helps you navigate which courses to take to complete your degree and assists you in enrolling in college classes for the first time.

During the college advising process, your advisor may ask for any of the following:

Unofficial Transcripts

When you first begin making your college schedule, your college advisor may ask you to share with them a list of the 1818 courses you've taken in high school. They may refer to this list as your "unofficial transcripts."

Your unofficial transcripts can be viewed through your student my性奴调教 account using the following steps:

Log into your . If you've never set up my性奴调教, please using the credentials located in your 1818 registration confirmation email.

When you are logged into your account: 

  1. Search for and click on "Banner Self-Service - Student App"
  2. Click on the "Unofficial Academic Transcript"
  3. On the next page select "all levels" under transcript level and "Banner Self-Service" under Transcript Type

Official Transcripts

When your college advisor approves your 1818 coursework, you will need to send an "official transcript" to your university to formally transfer your 1818 credits. Your advisor will prompt you when to do this but if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to our office or contact your university's registrar's office.

If possible, we advise waiting to order official transcripts until after our grade submission deadlines (January 26 for fall coursework and June 14 for spring/yearlong coursework). If you order your official transcripts before your 1818 instructor shares their grades with 性奴调教, you will have to reorder your transcripts. The cost to send an official e-transcript $5. 

View and Request Transcripts Online 

Transcript request fields we often get questions about:

  • Are you a current student?: No
  • Were you a student before 1988?: No
  • When were you a student?: Put the first year that you began taking classes and the last year you took classes. This can be a rough estimate.
  • Contact Information: This needs to be the student's contact information.
  • University Information: Only provide a valid university email address if required. Transcripts will need to be reordered if you put your own email in this section.

Course Syllabus

Sometimes, to determine which classes your 1818 credits will transfer as, a college advisor may request a copy of your 1818 syllabus/syllabi. If you do not have copies of your syllabi, you may:

  1. Contact your 1818 instructor(s) to request a copy. 
  2. Contact the 1818 Program office at 1818@slu.edu to request a copy. For each course you are requesting a syllabus for, please provide: course name, instructor, and corresponding terms for which you took the course.

We know you've worked hard to earn your 1818 credits and are here to support you should you encounter any difficulties in transferring your credits. Please know that while we will do our best to assist you, final decisions regarding credit transfer lie with your host university, guided by their internal policies.
