APPLIED RADIOGRAPHIC TECHNOLOGY III

- Description: Third of four courses that includes clinical participation and application of basic positioning, patient care, equipment manipulation, radiation protection, and image analysis. Emphasis is placed on the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spines; sacrum and coccyx; and thorax and skull. A clinical presentation is also required with the same emphasis. Intended for students in the Radiologic Technology Program; enrollment is limited to students accepted in the program.

- Description: Third of three courses that include laboratory participation and application of basic positioning, patient care, equipment manipulation, radiation protection, image analysis, and technical radiographic experiments. Emphasis on vertebral column, sacrum and coccyx, ribs, skull, urinary system, trauma, and pediatric, as learned in the companion lecture course, R T 51C. Footnote: Class runs from 04/7/2025- 06/02/25 R T -200L-01: Class will be in Room 5612 on Mondays 4/7 and 4/14 from 8:00-11:00 am and on Mondays 5/12, 5/19 and 6/2 from 8:00–10:00 am. Each student will be assigned one 3-hour lab session in room 5305 on Thursday 4/17 between 8 am-3 pm. One 3-hour clinic visit will also be assigned during the course. Lab and clinic visits will be assigned the first week of class. All students will complete 18 hours of instruction.
