1. Confirm Your Enrollment

Deposit Online

1. Log in to your and complete your admission offer form.
2. Submit your $500 enrollment deposit online. 

This deposit (known as a "confirmation fee" at ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì-Madrid) secures your place in the freshman class and should be submitted once you've decided to attend ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì. If you change your mind, you'll forfeit the deposit. 



2. Get Started in myÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì

The portal is your comprehensive online resource. As a new Billiken, you'll use it to enroll in courses, apply for housing, check your ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì email, view billing information and more. 

  1. Find your ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì Net ID, which is located in your under "My Application Info" on the right side of your screen. 
  2. Activate your ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì Net ID and password by following these . 1818 students: If you've previously logged in to myÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì or paid for classes, use the same password.

4. Submit Your Housing Preferences

Housing contracts open Feb. 3 and can be accessed via after your enrollment deposit is processed (24-48 hours). Your housing assignment will be based on your submission date.

5. Request Your ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì Estimated Financial Aid Offer

Learn what to expect as soon as possible by completing this institutional form that mirrors the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 

  • You can make the request by submitting the secure form located in your . 
  • Your estimated offer will come in as soon as two weeks. 
  • Your offer will be honored if the self-reported income on the form is within $15,000 of what’s listed on the FAFSA.

All students must complete the FAFSA and any other necessary documents. ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì reserves the right to adjust aid packages if there are significant discrepancies between the self-reported information on your form and the data on your FAFSA. The University will work with you to keep the final offer as close to your estimate as possible.

6. Apply for Financial Aid

Your determines your eligibility for state and federal grants and loans. 

  • Use ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's FAFSA school code: 002506.
  • File by Feb. 1 for priority consideration.

7. Update Your Email Address

Did you apply to ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì with a high school email address? Make sure you give your personal email to your admission counselor before your high school email becomes inactive. 

You'll want to eventually start checking your @slu.edu address for important updates and reminders.

8. Complete Your Placement Test(s)

ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's placement process ensures you start your first semester in the appropriate classes. After your enrollment deposit is processed (24-48 hours), complete your test(s) as soon as possible. Your advisor will use your scores to create your first semester schedule.

10. Get Your ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì ID

You'll use your ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì ID to access locations and services around campus, including buildings, parking, meal plans and printing. Check your ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì email in late spring for information on how to submit your photo online.

11. Provide Your Health Records and Proof of Insurance

Required Records
Submit your required immunization and screening records to ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's vaccine portal before the Aug. 1 deadline.

Health Insurance
Enroll in ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's University Health Plan or provide proof of private insurance by submitting ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's health insurance waiver. Registration opens July 1.

12. Submit Your Transcript

Submit your final, official high school and/or college transcript(s) by Aug. 1.

  • Mail to ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's Office of Admission, 221 N. Grand Blvd. Room 149, St. Louis, MO 63103
  • Have your high school counselor send it to ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì using a secure electronic submission system.

First-Year Experience

ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì 101 Orientation and ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì's Fall Welcome are the first events that kick-off your first-year experience, also known as FYE. You'll find resources to support you all through your first year at ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì — and beyond.

Real-World Experience

Adding real-world experience to your résumé helps you to stand out to future employers. Get started before classes begin by participating in one of our virtual internships, part of the ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì EXPeriential Learning Program. Any high school, undergraduate or graduate student is eligible to participate regardless of your enrollment status at ÐÔÅ«µ÷½Ì.
